In mid-November, there was a sudden change in the weather. It became gray weather, windy, the daytime temperature dropped to 18-20 degrees and it got cold at night.
The city's large beach suddenly became almost deserted. We thought we were pretty cool as we walked in the water which was now warmer than the air.
The tourists on the Esplanade continued to walk with bare legs, short trousers and T-shirts – easily recognizable from the Spaniards, who, on the other hand, were dressed as if it were an icy winter.
We changed into long trousers, bought warmer outerwear and realized that the summer was now over.
After a few days we woke up to sun from a clear blue sky. Over noon the sun got power and in the afternoon we went to the beach.
Now there were many people here again
But even though the sun was warming well as on a nice Danish summer day, the water was still hotter than the air.
