The engine is leaking oil
Discovers that the engine is leaking oil. Fortunately, there is a boat engine workshop a few hundred meters from where we are. Relieved, I go over there.
In the workshop there is a shop. Here, a mechanic is eagerly talking to a customer. They reach far and wide. Exchanging views on global warming, Thunder Shield and refugees without noticing my presence. After 30 minutes, the heavy issues are apparently resolved. At least the customer leaves the store. It's my turn.
The mechanic: What do you want ?
mig : Our engine is leaking oil?
The mechanic: hm
(short break)
Me: Can you repair it?
Mechanic: No
Me: Isn't there anyone else who can?
Mechanic: Ask Lennart
Me: Do you know where Lennart is?
Mechanic: No
Me: Can you find him?
The mechanic (turns his head): Lennaaaaaaaart
(silence and no reply from Lennart)
Mechanic:You can go out and find him on the yard
Me (on the yard) : Are you Lennart?
Lennart: yes
Me: The engine on our boat is leaking oil
Lennart: No
Me: Can you repair it?
Lennart:Where does it leak from?
Me: I do not know
Lennart: Don't have eyes in your head?
Me:Well, but I can not see where it is leaking from
Lennart: If you can not, then why should I?
Me: Can't you come over and look at it?
Lennart: No
mig : Why not ?
Lennart: It's too far away
Me: It's no more than a 2 minute walk
Lennart: No
Me: What do I do then ?
Lennart:Sail your boat over here
Me:Yes but then I lose the berth in the harbor (the harbor was full of boats and we had been extremely lucky to find a free berth)
Lennart:Do you want your engine repaired or not?
And so it went on
… Until Lennart finally repaired the leak in just under 10 minutes

You can do it yourself make the diagnosis
After the visit to Lennart, I decided to service the engine myself. How it went, you can read about here
